Discharge & beyond
You leave with a maintenance program and a clear sense of when to self-manage.

Common questions
Do I need a referral?
Washington allows direct access to physical therapy. You can start without a referral for most plans; we will help you verify what your insurance requires.
What should I wear?
Athletic clothing and shoes that let you move. You will exercise every visit, so come ready to work.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the issue. Most orthopedic plans run 8-16 visits over two to three months, with a written plan and progress reviews throughout.
Will it hurt?
Exercise-based rehab should challenge you, not harm you. We stay within a pain window that is safe and effective, and we tell you what to expect.
